The Hyundai Genesis sedan in rear-wheel-drive, 5.0-liter V8 form, is a modern interpretation of the classic luxury car formula: a big, comfortable car with lots of features and a smooth ride.

If your last car was a Cadillac or Lincoln from any time between 1950 and 2000, you'll feel right at home, if a little updated, in the 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0.

The interior materials are high-quality, although some details are a little too obviously reminiscent of those on European premium cars. The seats are cushy and comfortable and the ride is extremely soft and smooth. The 5.0-liter V8 is silky and powerful and sounds great, though it returned only 13.4 mpg in our tests. Like an old American luxury car, the Genesis RWD 5.0 is quick, comfortable, big and thirsty.

If MPG is not a concern, we think you'd love our santiago silver lux sedan with a cavernous trunk. This second generation Hyundai Genesis is a solid value. You may also add a few options like a head-up display and Lexicon 17 speaker discrete logic 7 audio system. This automobile offers state of the art electronic features (Hyundai Blue Link powered by Google) and is sure to take your family around in style.

Warranty/Service: 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance
