The Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars, based in Ängelholm, Skåne County, Sweden, is known for having the largest lineup of late-model high-performance sports car. The company was founded by Christian von Koenigsegg in 1994 with a mission to create the perfect Supercar. In 2011, the Koenigsegg Agera R broke the Guinness World Record for 0–186 mph with a time of just 14.53 seconds and a 0-186-0 mph time of 21.19 seconds.  They also developed the first ‘green’ Hypercar in the world, the Koenigsegg CCXR, which ran on E85 and E100 biofuel, as well as normal gasoline.
