Bourbon Taste Test
Bourbon conjures up images of Kentucky, but Hudson Baby Bourbon Whiskey is the first legal bourbon whiskey to be distilled in New York since Prohibition.
To be called bourbon, a spirit must be made from at least 51 percent corn, but this single grain spirit is made from 100 percent New York corn, then aged in American Oak. Thick but not syrupy, the 92-proof bourbon offers aromas of banana. This hand-made Tuthilltown Spirits product goes down clean, sweet and smooth with a slight bite. Its aftertaste is almost peaty, making this a good choice for Scotch fans.
