The Museum of Ice Cream
I scream, you scream, we all scream for the Museum of Ice Cream making its LA debut.
The pop-up exhibition that sold out in five days in New York city is expected to be four times larger than the Big Apple location and includes 10 reimagined installations as well as the super popular "swimmable sprinkle pool". Other exhibits include a mint "grow house", an over-sized, interacative popsicle installation, an interactive "banana split" made of 10,000 "bananas", scratch and sniff banana wallpaper and a room dedicated to the Sunshine State.
In addition to the exhibits, visitors get to indulge in the real thing with weekly rotating offerings from local creameries including McConnell's, Salt & Straw, CREAM and Coolhaus x Cuisinart plus mochi ice cream tasting from My/Mo.
In keeping with the ice cream theme there's also bottled ice cream scents cause who doesn't want to smell like cookies and cream?
The Museum of Ice Cream runs from April 22 to August 19 Wednesday - Monday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Tickets, which include two curated ice cream tastings and surprise edible treats, cost $29 per person, and $18 for children and seniors and must be purchased in advance (they are non-transferable).
