Pacific Coast Dream Machines
Taking place at Half Moon Bay Airport along California's central coast, this annual gathering provides plenty of fun for guests on the track, in the dirt or in the sky.
Motor enthusiasts' dreams do come true at Pacific Coast Dream Machines, a one-of-a-kind event combining rare automobiles, vintage scooters, antique tractors, airplanes and more. The self-proclaimed "Coolest Show on Earth" celebrates its 27th year with multiple events featuring more than 2,000 machines of all kinds on Sunday, April 30th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are car shows, air shows, motorcycle shows, tractor shows, maker fairs, music festivals, food festivals and living history festivals.
Above the tarmac, look for historic military aircraft aerobatic pilots doing fly-overs, or be amazed by the gravity-defying motorcycle performances by the RockStar Metal Mulisha FMX Team. You can even get in on the action yourself by signing up for a ride in one of the many unique machines. The celebration also features a kids fun zone replete with zip-line, 24-foot climbing wall, Zorbs (aka human hamster balls), a remote-controlled NASCAR race track and more. Grown-ups can enjoy cocktails and beer along with an all-day lineup of live music.
