The gastronomic festival will feature international culinary leader Chef Giovanna Huyke, known as the “Julia Child of Puerto Rico”.

The event kicks off on April 28th with a VIP cocktail event at Mayagüez Resort & Casino with key Puerto Rican dishes and famous international chefs serving up special plates accompanied by exclusive drinks.

On Saturday, April 29th, the main event will be held at the Mayaguez Litoral Park, with over 25 prominent local and international chefs, over 75 exhibitors including 40 restaurants, 15 wine and liquor houses. The fifth edition of the Top Chef Porta del Sol competition will be held, with ten chefs in contention for the grand title.

The closing event is the Brunch and Mimosa Tasting and guests can expect live music and attractions throughout the three-day fest. In addition to Huyke, Chef Ibrahim Sanz of Haven Riverfront Restaurant & Bar in Edgewater, New Jersey will also be hand.
