Put the pedal to the metal as you ride through Jack London Square.
Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a festival-lover looking for fun, Pedalfest has all the elements for a good time. And it's free to attend! Taking place on Saturday, July 22 from 11am-6pm at Jack London Square in Oakland, the annual event promises plenty for riders and spectators alike.
The event kicks off with a DJ set up on the pedal-powered sound stage followed by musical acts including Cello Joe, Fito & Armonia Ritmo, Adrienne Shamzsad and Pamela Parker Band.
Activities include the amphibious bike race where you can witness quirky pedaling creations, a gravity-defying bike stunt show, a kids bicycle rodeo, karaoke, races, kids bicycle parade and more. You can also check out an enormous collection of bicycles ranging from vintage and hand-built bikes to high-end customs. You'll also enjoy a New Belgium beer garden, food vendors and demos.
