A plush hotel with tasteful quirky touches just off the Palais Garnier.
This Haussmann-style hotel was built in 1887 and owes its name to one of its famous patrons, the Prince of Wales. The ground floor conjures up his likeness, with the reception desk shaped like a top hat, the walls recalling his coat and the bar configuring his belt. The property contains 58 spacious and fully-equipped rooms and 12 suites. The rooms on the three "couture floors" are done up in Art Deco style with bold colors and checked carpeting; those on the seventh floor enjoy little terraces that overlook the Palais Garnier. On the four other floors, rooms are more classic and come with period furniture, parquet floors and canopied beds. A fitness center, bar and French restaurant can all be found on-site.
