Contemporary style with Art Deco accents in a prestigious Mayfair location.
With the opening of 45 Park Lane, the Dorchester Collection offers upscale travelers the ninth property in its portfolio of luxury hotels. The revamped façade, using eco-friendly “fins” made from aluminum, incorporates solar power panels for the hotel’s heating and cooling processes. The property features CUT at 45 Park Lane, chef Wolfgang Puck's first European restaurant. Renowned architect and designer Thierry Despont has created a sleek, modern interior with a club-like feel. The contemporary mood is further enhanced by sixteen of Damien Hirst's limited edition "Psalms" series displayed together for the first time in the restaurant, and original art by leading British artists in the 45 guest rooms and suites. Beautiful, spacious accommodations overlook Hyde Park and enjoy state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen technology. En-suite bathrooms contain marble baths, freestanding showers, double vanities and mirror-mounted televisions. The Penthouse Suite, located on the ninth floor, had its own key-controlled lift for privacy and security, as well as a large balcony with panoramic views across Hyde Park and Mayfair.
