Petite Auberge Les Bons Matins Bed & Breakfast

An endearing bed and breakfast breaks the mold.

Petite Auberge Les Bons Matins Bed & Breakfast

In the shadows of the Bell Center, steps from a metro station, two blocks from Ste. Catherine street and a short walk to Old Montréal is the city’s most quirky, interesting and originally charming hotel. This bed and breakfast doesn’t just have a creative detail here and there, the bohemian vibe is all-encompassing, from the lobby to the last guest room. No detail is overlooked. Tucked onto a quiet side street, the crimson building is a quintessentially Québécois townhouse, complete with a walk-up entrance, brick exterior and hardwood floors. Rooms are broken into five principal categories, budget rooms, comfort rooms, deluxe rooms, apartments and townhouses. Each and every one of them has a personality of its own and is singularly endearing. A constant in rooms, though, are exposed brick walls and the whimsical, original paintings of Benoit A. Côté. Most rooms are also equipped with wood burning fireplaces (some in marble) and intricate crown moldings. Many also feature large, open whirlpool baths and poster bed frames. The feeling of warmth omnipresent in all guest rooms gives this hotel the distinctive feel of a well-tailored home.
