A nice hotel in a nice leafy Montréal suburb.
Located in the Montréal suburb of Laval, this hotel is not for tourists looking for the downtown experience. While transportation to Québec’s biggest city is accessible, it will take you nearly 20 minutes to arrive downtown. That said, Laval is a nice little suburb. The hotel is across the street from the Carrefour Laval, Québec’s biggest shopping mall. As for the hotel itself, the Sheraton offers large rooms with marble bathrooms and standard chain-hotel décor. Rooms feature expansive wood headboards, plush white pillows, neutral colors on bedding and carpeting with a bit of flair in the deep blue and gold curtains. The style seems to follow the standard hotel design script, without going out on a limb with a funky lamp or original piece of art. The hotel offers two dining options, Giotto and La Piazza, both fusion restaurants with an Italian touch. Also onsite is the surprisingly hip Cupola Lounge, a lively piano bar.
