A sprawling Moorish-style resort with fine dining, event venues, beaches and outdoor sports galore.
The name "Las Hadas" is Spanish for "the fairies," from stories of sailors near Manzanillo long ago who witnessed the phenomenon of phosphorescence and thought they were seeing nymphs. Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina offers a different kind of enchanting experience to travelers today. With private terraces, marble flooring and dramatic architectural elements –-- columns, niches, arched windows and curving window seats --– the rooms and suites are elegant, providing an out-of-the-ordinary setting for a relaxing or romantic vacation. There are several restaurants and lounges on-site, and the concierge can assist guests in planning a special dinner with mariachis, candlelight and fireworks; said meal can even take place aboard a private yacht. Meeting spaces include the Santiago Ball Room and outdoor plazas, and Las Hadas offers several pre-planned theme parties. The resort is especially accommodating for families with children; kids under twelve stay free, and the Little Angels Kids Adventure gives children plenty of fun things to do, from tours and games to cooking lessons and movies, while parents take advantage of the eighteen-hole golf course, paddle boats, water skiing and quarter-mile of private beach.
