An iconic hotel renovated with style and sophistication.
Much loved for its isolated storybook setting, complete with swans, swaying palms and almost twelve acres of lush gardens and tiled courtyards, Hotel Bel-Air has renewed its dedication to luxury with a complete renovation. The hotel’s longtime clientele of celebrities, dignitaries and industry leaders relish these changes while appreciating the preservation of the familiar Spanish Colonial architecture awash in signature “Bel-Air Pink.” Different design themes in the guest rooms and suites represent the glamour of the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s. There are also twelve new accommodations built into the hillside, with canyon views, sliding glass walls, outdoor fireplaces and decks with private spa pools. Seven individually designed specialty suites include a new 6,775-square-foot Presidential Suite complete with a chef’s kitchen and private dining for ten. Also new is a 12,000-square-foot structure (in Spanish mission style), featuring a fitness studio and three loft-style guest rooms with open floor plans. The addition of Spa by La Prairie adds cachet to the hotel's already established reputation for pampering. Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air focuses on California farmer's market cuisine with European and Mediterranean influences --- showcasing the culinary expertise of a master. As for the swans, they remained throughout the renovations, as faithful as ever during the seamless melding of classic and modern that is sure to make the Hotel Bel-Air a favorite for generations to come.
