Frisky modernity meets warm hospitality in Northern California.
Originally a prestigious 300-acre vineyard and working ranch with prized trotters, this lush nineteenth-century estate has been transformed into a luxurious inn and spa. While the 64 uniquely designed rooms are predominantly country in décor, they are accented with inviting colors and original artwork. Ten rooms are located in the Manor House, the property's original residence built in the 1850s. The inn's 29 suites offer fireplaces, king-sized beds, original art and hydrotherapy tubs or rain showers. New Garden Spa suites are duplex units with cathedral ceilings. The Garden Spa at MacArthur Place offers more than 40 different massage, facial and body treatments utilizing flowers, herbs and plants found in the garden. Metal sculptures scattered throughout the grounds add a touch of whimsy to this otherwise traditional country inn. A luxurious pool, hot tub, steak house, martini bar, fitness center and seven high-tech meeting rooms complete the picture.
