A taste of the past where redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean.
Built in 1916 during the height of the "Redwood Empire," this inn was once the home of Goodyear Lumber's CEO. It has maintained the grandeur and elegance of its past, particularly in the stately living room, with its arched redwood ceilings and imposing fireplace. The main house boasts six guest rooms in all, decorated with antiques and boasting views of the ocean, redwoods or meadow. Some of the rooms have fireplaces; all have private bathrooms. There are also four cottages that feature decks with ocean views, kitchens, bathrooms and antique claw-foot tubs. All rates include a four-course dinner for two, as well as a full breakfast. While the inn offers in-room massage, the one experience not to be missed is a leisurely stroll in the oceanside gardens overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
