A comfy alternative to the Disneyland Resort hotels.
If you can't get in to one of the heavily in-demand hotels smack in the heart of the Disneyland Resort, the Anabella offers the next best thing. Located in the same block as the Anaheim Convention Center, the hotel is only a ten-minute stroll away from both theme parks' entrances. This harmonious mission-style hotel has a bit of magic to its history, as its complex of nine two-story buildings surrounded by lush, meticulous gardens and parking is actually a fusion of several older, smaller motels that were built decades ago to cater to Disney tourism. Rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds, good-quality linens and granite bathrooms, and the grounds include such thoughtful amenities as a quiet pool where adult guests can relax free from screaming, splashing kids. We suggest that you opt if possible for a second-floor room. That way, the buildings' age won't betray itself by creaking ceilings that can awaken you when your upstairs neighbors return late from Magic Kingdom revelries or rise early to catch a flight back home.
