A simple and serene vintage hideaway just a tumbleweed toss from Joshua Tree National Park.
Located near the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, 29 Palms Inn takes a simple approach to hospitality unlike, it’s more flashy Palm Springs counterparts. History, romance and hints of the Old West create a perfect escape. This desert oasis offers a collection of unique, no-frills adobe bungalows and wood-frame cottages built during the Roaring Twenties. Interiors are appointed in rich hardwoods, calico and leather to convey rustic, time-worn charm. The private and peaceful grounds feature a relaxing pool, oasis lagoon, lush desert trees and plants, and the hotel’s herb and vegetable gardens (supplying fresh ingredients for the on-site dining venue). The restaurant is a local favorite serving a menu of sandwiches and burgers for lunch and steak, seafood and pasta entrées for dinner poolside or indoors. Several units allow pets.
