Leading the trendy pack in a prime urban location.
Given the sophisticated and modernist décor of this SoMa property, it's fitting that the hotel is located adjacent to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. On the ground level, the lobby is expansive, and provides a minimalist, modern atmosphere. Upstairs, nearly all of the 410 rooms have views of the Bay Bridge. Rooms come in a variety of classes, though all are furnished with pillow-top mattresses, flat screen televisions, iPod docking station and Bliss bath products. New in 2011, top-floor "Extreme WOW" suites (dubbed E-WOW suites) boast butler pantries, two bathrooms and optional second bedrooms, too. Other on-property amenities include a modest fitness center and Bliss Spa's first West Coast venture. Trace, a restaurant serving modern California cuisine, opened in the summer of 2011.
