Luxury of Olympic proportions in a beautiful mountain setting.
This enormous mountain lodge in North Lake Tahoe's Olympic Village was built for the 1960 Olympic Games and has been redesigned and renovated in recent years as part of the PlumpJack brand. The star of the show: a 3,000-square-foot conference center with floor-to-ceiling windows and fantastic mountain views. Décor in the 58 guest rooms is contemporary, with earth-toned fabrics and sculpted metal accessories. Amenities include down comforters, hooded robes, flat screen televisions and DVD players. Suites feature sitting rooms, couches and private patios. All guests receive complimentary breakfast and high-speed Internet access. The on-site eatery, PlumpJack Café, serves French and Mediterranean-inspired American cuisine and is especially popular for its steak and seafood. There's also an on-site fitness center.
