A large but not intimidating hotel for business travelers.
This hotel was designed primarily for the crowds that fill Chicago's McCormick Place convention center. But it's too bad that its architects didn't take a cue from the handsome warehouses and office buildings nearby when designing the exterior, as it lacks the same character. Fortunately, the interior is another story. Rooms are very pleasantly decorated, and many offer terrific views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Direct access to McCormick Place is convenient for conventioneers, as is frequent shuttle bus service to downtown. For those staying on the Business Plan floors, complimentary continental breakfast is served. Suites feature galaxy telescopes and vanities separate from the toilet/bath area. The hotel has an indoor pool with an outdoor sun deck and a lap pool in the health club. A multilingual staff and self-service laundry round out the amenities.
