A happenin' place in the midst of Chicago's financial district.
Recreated as a luxury hotel in 2002, and expanded with 35 new guest rooms in 2012, this property sits in the heart of Chicago's well-known Loop business district, near Willis Tower, Grant Park and the Chicago Art Institute. Despite its central location, however, it is more of an upscale executive retreat than a tourist haven. The deep brown hues would feel right at home in a dignified boardroom. At the same time, the 1940s glamour décor is designed to appeal to the young of body and the young at heart. The guest rooms offer a contemporary, somewhat Asian feel. They feature an abundance of upscale amenities, including featherbeds, iPod docking stations, plasma TVs and mini-bars stocked with iced tea and local brews. The Living Room is a non-traditional approach to the typical hotel lobby, featuring a DJ and games. On-site venues include IPO, which serves "new urban cuisine," and the Living Room Bar.
