Whimsical guest rooms are the hallmark of this quaint bed and breakfast.
This 10-room, year-round inn is located on an estate that was once the home of the founder of Manitou Springs. It is known for its sweet and whimsical guest rooms and Gothic Revival architecture. It is close to the conveniences of Colorado Springs, but just a bit off the beaten path. It is ideally located for parents visiting their U.S. Air Force Academy cadets. Rooms offer private baths, fireplaces, microwaves, mini fridges and hairdryers. They also come with TVs with DVD/VCRs; there is a movie library with over 650 titles. Each room has its own theme, complete with original art. One of the most popular, the Starlight, features walls of deep blue with hand painted comets, galaxies and stars. Guests can enjoy their full gourmet breakfast on one of the covered porches or in the quiet garden courtyard. The inn is convenient as a base for touring famous attractions such as Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
