A local favorite with elegant, Old English touches.
Built in 1926, this boutique hotel is located two blocks from Worth Avenue and the Atlantic Ocean. Locally, the hotel is most famous for its nightspot, the Leopard Bar, where Palm Beach ladies have been known to troll for moneyed mates. Live music is featured here nightly. The 52 rooms range from fairly small to spacious. They come with personal touches like jelly beans and fresh flowers, and the décor consists of antiques and Frette linens. The hotel has a library complete with fireplace where high tea is served in the afternoons (3 p.m. to 5 p.m.). Both indoor and outdoor dining (terrace and poolside) are available.
