Conference-ready facilities in a setting of old-style luxury.
Right on the Las Olas strip, this hotel was built in 1936 and renovated in 2002. It still retains its own boat dock, and the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi will make stops here on request. The 217 rooms are divided between two spaces: the original six-story building and a newer twelve-story Executive Tower. The latter in particular caters to business travelers with more than 10,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. Guest room amenities include mini-bars, cable TV, coffee makers and free high-speed Internet access. The hotel is also popular for weddings, partly because of the enormous banquet space. There is no fitness center or spa, but many of the bathrooms feature Jacuzzis. Princess-for-a-day treats include a horse-drawn carriage that stops outside the hotel and trots down Las Olas. Enjoy a range of culinary styles at Indigo Restaurant and then drinks at Preston's Wine & Martini Lounge or Golden Lyon Vintage Pub.
