Historic buildings adapted and repurposed from offices to lodging form this unusual urban hotel.
Built in 1927 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this downtown Atlanta hotel represents great value and convenience. With 119 rooms and suites, of which two are ADA compliant, the hotel presents a classic Art Deco feeling in its lobby. To form the hotel, two office buildings were adapted, and the space between them enclosed to configure an atrium. Recently refurbished and repainted inside and out, the hotel offers vibrant colors, with red walls adding a punch of color to the taupe tones chosen for the exterior. Original window casements remain. Rooms and suites are equipped with generous desks and ergonomic chairs. Vanities have been removed from baths and replaced with granite-topped furniture for sinks. Some rooms have coffee makers, microwaves and small refrigerators, and suites feature queen-size pull-out sofas, enabling a suite to accommodate up to six people. Complimentary high-speed wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel. A coin-operated guest laundry is also available. Convenient to all of downtown Atlanta's attractions, the hotel offers grab-and-go breakfasts for guests on the run.
