Interesting amenities make this chain property stand out from the rest.
Located about an hour from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Ft. Benning, this Wingate property is owned by Koreans and draws many Korean business guests. The reason is the nearby KIA automobile manufacturing facility. What it means for this hotels is that three of the television channels are in Korean; Korean breakfast items (kimchee, miso soup, rice) are on the breakfast bar; and your bill will be in Korean on one side. Rooms on the second and fourth floors are surfaced in hardwood, while those on floors one and three are carpeted. These spacious rooms come with either a king-size bed or two queens, and all offer mini-refrigerators, microwaves and coffee makers. Good-sized work surfaces with ergonomic chairs come with each room. Of the 100 accommodations, three are suites. In addition to the swimming pool, there's a hot tub. The hotel is just off I-85, and from here, many of the area's tourism sites are within easy reach, such as Callaway Gardens. LaGrange itself --- so proud of its historic connections to the Marquis de La Fayette that his larger-than-life statue dominates the town square -- offers charm, the arts and several good restaurants.
