Although tough to spot as you drive by, this hotel is a solid choice for value in a great location.
With lots of rose-tinted marble, soaring windows and a view of a pebbled patio, you might think you've stumbled into a misplaced Mediterranean inn. While the property itself is a bit hard to spot at first glance, the front desk is small but conveniently situated and easy to find. Location is key in the hotel market, and this is definitely the top selling point of this hotel. Staying here puts you right in the thick of the Bloomington action---the airport, the Mall of America and the whole corporate community---all for a fraction of what nearby places charge. This is called Comfort Inn, not Luxury Inn, so keep in mind that although the rooms are comfortable, they're not grand. But what they lack in opulence, they make up for in space. Large windows let in lots of outside light, and the burgundy and green color schemes hint at higher ambitions. The bathrooms are surprisingly large and well stocked. As is often the case, the corner rooms have a bit extra space. Fresh coffee is always available at no charge to guests.
