Modern Southwest style with views in Albuquerque's Old Town neighborhood.
At eleven stories tall, the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town dwarfs the structures around it, thus affording guests on most floors extremely impressive views of the Sandia Mountains as well as the bustle of this historic neighborhood jammed with shops, museums and restaurants. Each spacious room has a small balcony, and the interiors are brightened with bold red-and-gold-striped fabrics and Old World Mexico-style armoires, bedside tables and desks. It's the common areas that stand out here, though, including the 41,000 square feet of meeting space and 21,000 square feet of outdoor event space. This is a popular venue for weddings, thanks to the on-site chapel. The elegant Grand Sala lobby lounge has vintage photographs, a gorgeous chandelier and architectural details that recall 19th-century New Mexico. There's fine Spanish food served in the upscale restaurant, Cristobal's, and more casual fare at Café Plazuela & Cantina, which is known for its margaritas. In-room treatments are available from Sage Spa Services, and further relaxation can be found at the large outdoor pool and hot tub area.
