A tasteful window onto Philadelphia's colonial past.
The fifteen bedrooms in this National Historic Landmark have been individually decorated to complement the building's original 1787 architecture. All are equipped with private bathrooms (some with showers only), air-conditioning, TVs with DVD players and access to complimentary wireless high-speed Internet. Most rooms also have hardwood floors, and two suites have private sitting rooms. Continental breakfast is served each morning and tea in the afternoons in two dining rooms, both with original fireplaces. This red brick, colonial treasure has a pretty private garden, which can be used for events or business gatherings. The historic status means there isn't an elevator, and pets aren't allowed. Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell are just a few blocks away.
