A secluded meadow setting in the mountains.
This lodge is nestled 1,000 feet above Leavenworth on a 20-acre meadow in the middle of the Wenatchee National Forest. It has a massive stone fireplace, and its spectacular high-ceilinged dining room is encompassed in glass---a lovely setting for casual dining on linen by candlelight. The feeling here is so private that it’s hard to believe a major tourist town is close by. There are ten lodge rooms and two private cabins on the property. Rooms boast rustic and antique furniture, hand-carved beds, CD stereos and large bath sheets for the heated pool. Nice, personal touches include complimentary port. Cabins are romantic with river rock Jacuzzis for two, river rock fireplaces and surround-sound stereo systems. In the summer guests have access to 40 miles of hiking and biking trails. During the winter the cost of a stay includes all meals and the use of cross-country skis, sleds, snowshoes and toboggans for the 1,700-foot toboggan run.
