French country living on a Northwest island.
This private carriage house is done up in French country style and is surrounded by an enormity of wildlife and cultivated gardens on rural Bainbridge Island. The bucolic vantage point on nature and the northwest’s vibrant seasons allows you to feel as if you’ve left the city far behind, even though the ferry to Seattle is only six miles away. The property is airy, with large windows to let the light in, even on the gloomiest of days. There is a fireplace for cool winter months, and a large bedroom with a sitting area for snuggling year-round. French doors lead out to a deck where visitors enjoy morning coffee, read and marvel at the setting. A three-night minimum stay is required in the summer.
