An old-fashioned getaway in the middle of Tennessee's rolling hills.
Boasting the state’s largest waterfall, the 20,000-acre Fall Creek Falls State Resort Park is just one mile from this charming B&B. Personal service is the name of the game here, as evidenced by breakfasts showcasing Doug’s Cinnamon Rolls, served in the intimate dining room adorned with a crystal chandelier, country furnishings and lattice-glass windows. Six guest rooms are housed in the main building and a far more individual experience is offered in The Meadowbrook Cabin. Rooms are intimate and old-fashioned, with lace curtains and chenille bedspreads, as well as numerous individual appointments, such as Federal furnishings and a red heart-shaped whirlpool. The cabin feels like a private retreat with its full redwood porch. Those traveling with kids over the age of eight should check out the Jenny Lynn room, which has two beds.
