A wraparound porch welcomes guests to this hospitable inn.
Set in the King William Historic District near the River Walk, this 1886 five-room inn blends right into its living-museum location. Adjacent to the main inn, the Carriage House offers two mini-suites with gardens. Trolley service adds to the mood of yesteryear, whisking visitors to The Alamo, as well as downtown's Alamodome, Spanish Governor's Palace and Mexican market. Victorian-style furniture lends a traditional and elegant air to the inn's guest rooms. All boast elaborately carved queen-sized beds and are abloom with floral designs. The sun porch serves as the setting for early morning coffee or afternoon tea. A complimentary gourmet breakfast includes fresh brewed coffee or hot tea, a breakfast entrée, fresh fruit and breakfast dessert.
