A restored mansion in historic Plaza San Francisco in Quito.
This mansion-turned-hotel sits at the southwest corner of Quito’s historic Plaza San Francisco. Many original design elements have been being preserved, such as the tall, elegant windows with views of the Panecillo hillside, the hotel's own plaza and inner courtyard, the painted tin ceilings and the Renaissance-inspired architecture with Neoclassical elements and a mix of Art Nouveau and contemporary design. The property features a garden patio of orchids and native plants, a rooftop terrace with 360-degree views, a wood-paneled library and a ground floor café and restaurant. Three room options include one Panecillo Suite, 21 San Miguel rooms and nine San Roque rooms.
