A sophisticated Ritz-Carlton experience in a new mega-resort.
Located on the Grande Lakes Orlando resort, this Italianate-style hotel offers class and elegance in a city riddled with inexpensive chains catering to the theme park crowds. The hotel does brisk group business year-round, although the heat slows things down a bit during the summer months. It is also popular for romantic getaways. The 584 guest rooms, Club Level rooms and suites are traditionally decorated in earthy pastel tones. All have private balconies overlooking the 500-acre property. A pair of Ritz-Carlton Suites showcases hand-painted Italian furniture. The property offers two notable highlights. The first is The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club® Orlando, Grande Lakes, with a Greg Norman-designed course that sits at the headwaters of the Florida Everglades. The second, the 40,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa, Orlando, was designed to resemble a Mediterranean palazzo and features 40 treatment rooms. The hotel's nine dining options include the signature Norman's, serving "New World" cuisine from acclaimed chef Norman Van Aken.
