The Tremont Chicago Hotel at Magnificent Mile
Specializing in romance in a great location.
This property was named after a legendary nineteenth-century Chicago hotel. It valiantly upholds its namesake's tradition of Midwestern hospitality coupled with European charm. It was built in the early 1920s and has 130 guest rooms and nine suites, as well as twelve fully furnished studios with kitchens in an adjoining locale for longer-term guests. Accommodations range from quite small to spacious and feature lots of white woodwork and upscale, standard hotel décor. Junior suites have two bathrooms, and all guest rooms offer such creature comforts as TVs with cable, data ports, free wireless Internet, robes, hair dryers and 24-hour room service. Penthouse suites feature eleven-foot ceilings, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and wet bars. Mike Ditka's restaurant (owned by the legendary Chicago football coach) is on the premises. The hotel is located within sight of Lake Michigan and is well situated for early morning jogs or evening strolls along the lakefront.
