An elegant ode to urban glass and steel.
There's nowhere to go but up here. Guests enter through street-level revolving doors and ride elevators past floors of City Center mall shops to reach the hotel. At peak hours the elevator bay can resemble a congested New York subway. Unfortunately, even already-registered guests are obliged to transfer elevators to access their rooms. The hotel is built around a pleasant, diamond-shaped atrium. Rooms are nicely furnished and even the smallest feel more spacious than most standard guest rooms. Nice views overlook the downtown area. The neutral earth tones and seemingly endless array of services add a touch of luxury to the less-than-grand mall setting. A product of a questionable downtown development scheme, the mall is stocked with mid-level stores and a food court.
