A luxurious compound of tastefully appointed Southwestern casitas.
One of the many wonderful features of El Farolito is that every one of the eight rooms at this intimate B&B has its own private entrance, thereby ensuring guests plenty of privacy. Yet each morning, guests are free to mingle a bit with each other and the congenial staff over an expanded Continental breakfast that features such treats as homebaked pastries and breads, fresh fruit and cereals, and fine teas and fresh-brewed coffees. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, ready to book dinner reservations or assist with trip-planning at a moment's notice, but also perfectly happy to leave guests to their own devices. Each room occupies a private casita and has such alluring decorative touches as Spanish-style tile or brick floors and a mix of Victorian, Indian, and Spanish Colonial furnishings; many have wood-beam ceilings and woodburning fireplaces (one has a gas fireplace). Beds covered with elegant, colorful spreads and throw pillows lend warmth to each room. And all the casitas have a cozy patio, which are either private or shared.
