Juan de Fuca Cottages
A good base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula.
This collection of small cottages sits on a bluff overlooking Dungeness Bay. Located on five acres in a quiet, residential neighborhood, the property has its own beach on a national wildlife refuge and views of Victoria, British Columbia. It’s also popular with families because most of the Olympic Peninsula’s major attractions are a day trip away. The owner refers to the six comfy Cape Cod-style cottages as miniature homes. Each comes with queen and double beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a whirlpool tub with a skylight above. As well, cable TV and VCRs are complemented by a collection of 200 classic movies. Each cottage features an Adirondack chair so guests can sit outside and soak up views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Spit. There’s also a gazebo where visitors can socialize and play games. The Hideaway Cottage is popular with couples.
