Rustic mountain digs for the snowmobiling crowd.
Set in beautiful Bridger-Teton National Forest, this lodge is a mecca for snowmobilers during the winter months. From here adrenaline junkies can snowmobile (and extreme snowmobile) Jackson Hole, Yellowstone and Togwotee. Summertime draws its own fans, who come for guided horseback rides, wilderness pack trips and fields filled with colorful wildflowers. There are guest rooms on the second floor and suites on the third floor of the main lodge. The latter feature queen beds, sleeper sofas and bunk beds; they're great for families. The style of the lodge rooms is simple, with cheerful blue bedspreads and pine furniture. The more rustic cabins have log walls and open beam ceilings. They are equipped with master bedrooms, sleeper sofas in the living rooms, two cable TVs, dining areas and kitchenettes. A wilderness theme continues in the pavilion, where antlers and a bear skin hang on the walls. For relaxation, there is a hot tub and the Red Fox Saloon.
