Four Seasons brings its signature pampering to Anguilla with lavish villas and a seaside spa.
Originally a Viceroy resort, this property still maintains the group's signature sleek style. But its takeover by Four Seasons brought it to a new level of luxury. This stunning escape offers 181 guest rooms, suites and villas, all designed with indulgence in mind. Most accommodations have sea views, and even the basic amenities are deluxe: Nespresso coffee and tea machines, twice-daily housekeeping and entertainment centers with flat-screen TVs. The custom look (in pale shades of taupe, oyster and cream) by interior designer Kelly Wearstler is tasteful, soothing and invitingly residential. With up to five bedrooms, villas are especially decadent, and for those who want a home away from home, private residences are offered.
Among the treats at this resort are a sports pavilion with three tennis courts, a seaside spa and a 24-hour fitness center with beachfront yoga. House restaurants include Cobà for fresh seafood, Bamboo Bar & Grill for casual Mediterranean-inspired fare and the Half Shell Beach Bar for salads and wraps. In addition, at the Sunset Lounge, guests will find a medley of sushi, retro cocktails, fine cigars and (no surprise) sunset views. The resort encourages an active lifestyle with its water sports center and dynamic kids and teen programs. But if guests want to laze the days away, that's easy too, with three relaxing pools and laid-back games like bocce ball.
