Personal service and romantic accommodations define this intimate boutique hotel.
Perhaps the best-kept secret in the midst of Paris’ colorful Marais district, the Dupond-Smith provides a clandestine respite tucked away within a residential enclave of 17th and 18th century homes. There’s not much signage to let you know you’ve arrived, but once inside, there’s no question this boutique hotel is ready to provide a pampered stay. A mere eight guest accommodations (including four suites) make it easy for visitors to feel right at home; all are done with upscale contemporary furnishings, high-end designer décor, luxurious linens, rain-style shower heads and Diptyque toiletries, and some also offer private balconies. The staff is intent on catering to guests’ wishes, and are happy to arrange in-room massages, facials, personal training, room service or a simple glass of Champagne upon request. There’s no restaurant on-site, although there are plenty of eateries and cafés in the immediate area, and breakfast is served until 4 p.m. in the lounge. A small, swanky hotel bar makes the perfect perch for a smart evening cocktail.
