A legendary Parisian hotel lavishly renovated for 21st-century jet setters.
Following a much-publicized closure and decadent $268 million makeover, the iconic Hôtel Plaza Athénée reopened its hallowed doors on August 1, 2014. The hotel's luxurious style remains, while additions include the incorporation of neighboring townhouses to add six more guest rooms, eight suites and three event venues, including an intimate ballroom. This brings the total of guest rooms with direct views onto the Eiffel Tower to six and rooms with tower views from their balconies to more than 40. Guests can expect subtle new touches such as a Carrara marble floor in the lobby and brighter (though still discreet) colors in the accommodations. The on-site Dior Institute pampers with its combination of glamorous surroundings and innovative treatments. As for dining, the hotel maintains its superlative reputation with Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, Le Relais Plaza, La Cour Jardin, La Galerie and Le Bar du Plaza Athénée.
