Maison Athénée Paris
A haven of comfort and refinement inspired by famous opera singers.
Near the Palais Garnier, this boutique hotel has been designed by Jacques Garcia, who took his inspiration from four of the world's most famous operas: Faust, Aida, the Traviata and Don Giovanni. The lobby is furnished with velvet chairs and sofas and boasts columns, mirrors and a marble floor. The ornate Red Bar features cozy couches and autographed photos of renowned opera singers. In the vaulted smoking room, you can relax in a comfortable chair and watch TV or listen to lounge music. All of the twenty themed rooms come with air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, safes and free Wi-Fi access. Bathrooms are tiled with glittering mosaics and have wash basins and shower trays cut in marble. A TV is even embedded at the end of the bathtub in the deluxe rooms. In brief, this small luxury hotel is a haven of creature comforts.
