Hotel Adlon Kempinski

A grand hotel with history, luxury and service.

The Brandenburg Suite with a view of Brandenburg Gate at Hotel Adlon Kempinski

Hotel Adlon Kempinski was first opened in October of 1907 by original owner Lorenz Adlon. A fire during World War II destroyed the structure but it was revived decades later in 1997 during the presidency of Roman Herzog. Using the original designs of the hotel, the property was rebuilt and continues to stand today exuding opulence and historical significance.

The hotel is located in the heart of Berlin, and at the center of the governmental and Embassy district. Many important sights are within walking distance and there are plenty of options for shopping. Major events take place around this part of the city so guests can look forward to an energetic and lively atmosphere.

The Adlon features 304 elegant guest rooms and 78 suites equipped with high-speed internet access, satellite TV, fax machine, telephones and lavish furnishings crafted out of black granite, marble and wood. One highlight is the electronic key card system, which activates lights and air-conditioning as soon as it unlocks the door.

There are 15 meeting and event spaces, a ballroom, fitness center, indoor pool, and the Adlon Spa by Resense offering a wide range of pampering services. And, guests will want for nothing as the "Ladies in Red" are on hand to meet any needs that may arise, day or night.

Even if you are not staying at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, it is such a legend that the tourists are making a point to enter the building for a sneak peek, sit and enjoy drinks and bites at the lobby bar, or dine at Quarré, the casual restaurant, located on the street level overlooking Berlin’s iconic moment the Brandenburg Gate.
