Rocco Forte Villa Kennedy
Kennedyallee 70 Frankfurt
This 1901 villa provides a taste of Italian splendor in a tranquil Frankfurt location.
With its towers, turrets and fairy-tale flourishes, Rocco Forte Villa Kennedy honors its origins as a lavish private manor home. As with every Rocco Forte hotel, Olga Polizzi's signature, sophisticated attention to style can be seen throughout. For this particular property, she chose Brit designer Martin Brudnizki, who used wood, mirrors and warm, natural colors to create a soothing ambience. The 123 guest rooms and 36 suites blend past and present, with individual artwork, rich accent fabrics, media hubs, free Wi-Fi for up to three devices, and mosaic-tiled bathrooms with heated floors. Most accommodations are in a newer, three-wing building whose architecture thoughtfully matches the historic mansion.
Gusto restaurant serves rustic Italian dishes, while JFK Bar is a refined venue for cognacs, malt whiskies, fine wines and more than 120 original house cocktails. The central courtyard is especially lovely in summer for enjoying a drink or light meal. The 4-level Villa Spa is a stunning urban sanctuary, complete with an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, Finnish sauna and fitness studio. Eight conference rooms are all bathed in natural light and feature state-of-the-art A/V technology. The grand ballroom is decorated with hand-painted Italian silk wall coverings and has its own foyer.
