A well-located Regents Park hotel with an excellent restaurant and 24-hour gym.
Overlooking Regents Park, this converted Radisson hotel is stylish enough and well suited to corporate guests, though its main market in summer is cricket fans to Lord's. Looking out over the beautiful old grounds, the hotel is jammed during five-day test matches, so make sure there isn't a game on when you want to stay, as the cricket teams also checks in here. It's also walking distance from Regents Park and London Zoo, and a bike dock is located just outside so guests can cycle around the area. Each of the 365 bedrooms is elegant and modern, and many are very spacious. All feature striped Percale linens, comfortable lounge chairs and sedate lighting. The even bigger studio suites have king-size beds and designer bathrobes. If possible, ask for one of the "refurbished" rooms away from the main road; they are a touch higher in quality and style and are also a good deal quieter. Breakfasts are positively first class, with plenty of choices at a beautifully presented buffet with attentive staff. The attached Minsky’s Restaurant serves an excellent carvery as well as deli dishes. The gym is open 24 hours a day.
