Kingsway Hall

A convenient location for theater lovers and business travelers.

With Covent Garden on one side and the City of London on the other, this hotel is likely to have a good mix of entertainment-seeking, theater-going tourists and more sober, business-minded travelers. A classical sandstone façade leads into a dramatic glass foyer with sweeping staircase and marble floor. The 170 good-sized double and twin bedrooms are traditionally furnished with pretty florals, stripes and plain white duvets. Broadband Internet access, TVs with over 400 channels (some chargeable) and direct phone lines are standard, while deluxe rooms are equipped with Molton Brown toiletries and king-size beds. Aside from the extra floor space, executive rooms offer little more, other than a robe, slippers and turndown service. The Harlequin restaurant features rather odd, Scottish-checked chairs, but don't let that put you off, as the seasonal menu offers good hearty food, and afternoon teas are nice too.
