The Levin

A charming hotel with a welcoming French pension ambience.

The Levin

Run by David and Margaret Levin, who also own the more lavish Capital Hotel next door, The Levin could almost be described as an upmarket French bed-and-breakfast. Just 100 meters from Harrods on a residential street, this pretty little property with twelve bedrooms has a lovely Parisian feel. A gorgeous pink optical chandelier cascades down the middle of the building, encircled by a spiral staircase. Rooms have a minty freshness and are painted in soft pastels, while the suites are fitted with dark wood furniture and painted with chunks of bold color to brighten up the neutral furnishings. Deluxe rooms come with free Wi-Fi. The staff treat guests like members of an extended family and will always be on hand for the smallest of requests. The bar and restaurant of The Capital are open to The Levin guests, and the hotel also operates the bustling Le Métro brasserie, which carries a full menu, from bacon sandwiches, buttermilk pancakes and eggs Benedict to hearty late-evening suppers.
