Compact, capsule rooms for travelers to and from Heathrow airport.
Forget expensive taxis, running for the last train and waking up in the wee hours to get to and from the airport. Book a pod online at the Yotel Heathrow and sleep comfortably without any worries. Located just below the departure lounge in Terminal 4, Yotel (based on Japan’s capsule hotels) is just what jet-lagged travelers, those in transit or early flyers need to make their journey a little bit easier. For a minimum of four hours, guests can check in at any hour of the night and bed down for as long as they need. Compact standard rooms come fitted with a bunk bed-style single bed, a flat screen TV, an excellent power shower, body wash and towels. Wi-Fi is free, and a small workspace opens up for guests to use computers. Premium rooms come with hi-tech double beds that function as a large comfy couch, but with the press of a button, slide down to fill the room. Rooms are low-lit with purple lighting, and a side panel adjusts bathroom and overhead lighting so tired travelers can function with minimum effort. If guests forget toothbrushes and such, a machine at the entrance will dispense items for a small fee. At check-in, take advantage of the free earplugs. The one downside is that rooms are not soundproof, and as guests come and go throughout the night, it can turn noisy. Rates vary for day and night check-in.
